3″ Brominating Tablet
It’s a new form of brominating disinfectant for swimming pools. It is easily adapted to many erosion feeders used to automatically treat both commercial and residential swimming pools.

Application
1. Before using EXTRA BROM in your swimming pool for the first time, add 400 g of sodium bromide per 10,000 L of water to establish a 30 ppm bromide reserve. Also add sodium bromide when opening the pool for the summer and whenever the pool is drained and refilled. The bromide reserve is needed to keep the system completely bromine based, to eliminate chlorinous odours and to assure maximum water comfort to skin and eyes in pools on the treatment system.
2. To start up a new pool for the season or convert from a chlorine based program, backflush or clean the filter, chemically balance the calcium hardness and alkalinity and adjust the pH to 7.2 – 7.8.
3. Add sodium bromide, as directed above. When the sodium bromide has dissolved in the water, superoxidize to obtain a bromide residual of 2-8 ppm. Swimming may begin when the bromine level drops below 3 ppm.
4. When the bromine level drops 1-3 ppm, add EXTRA BROM to a suitable feeding device. Adjust the feeder according to manufacturer’s directions to maintain 1-3 ppm of available bromine. Use a reliable test kit for free bromine measurements.
